Round 2...

Sunday was a busy day for our little girl...losing her umbilical stump, hours playing with Babcha and Papa, visiting her new friend, Blake Armstrong, in the hospital (born that morning!),  and we also tried the photo shoot again.  When she had had enough, she let us know.  Though we don't like to see her cry, it is fun to see a little feisty-ness come out!

  We waited until she was fast asleep and then called Duffey to come over, hoping not to waste his time.  Well of course as soon as he got over here and set up, she was wide awake.  I fed her, turned the lights down, and rocked and rocked her.  Steve became a human prop... covered in blankets, so you can't see him in the shots, and Duffey shot as fast as he could.  The "grown-ups" prevailed! We managed to get some sleeping pictures of little missy.

  Looking at them, I am amazed how much she has grown in a week.  She is so long, her cheeks are filling out, and her hair is coming in so thick.  She has become so squirmy that she worked herself off the edge of a pillow (into the arms of her mama)!  Enjoy the pictures!  If anyone is planning on printing some, we will have them in higher resolution on a DVD.  So talk to us and we will see if we can get it to you or print them for you!
