Ruby was quite the party girl this weekend... game night on Friday night and Noah's 1st birthday party on Saturday. Well, Miss Ruby is a party girl. She did so well at both events. Quite the social butterfly, she floated from person to person stealing their hearts and then moving on. :) Comparing her and Noah, it is amazing how much they change in a year. She was oblivious of all the kids, but I am sure by her party 11 months from now she will be chasing after them all! If that doesn't remind you of a teenager, how about her constant wardrobe changes. Ruby had her first "blowout" on Saturday. Luckily, Mom packed an extra outfit. We topped that today. Tonight, she is currently on her third outfit. Pooping and then peeing mid-diaperchange ruined the first one and then one feeding that didn't sit right entirely soaked the second outfit when it came back up. Finally, (and most exciting for her mom and dad) Ruby is slowly, but surely learning to love to sleep like a teenager. Friday night she went 5.5 hours between feedings and last night she had one 4 hour stretch followed by a 3.5 stretch. Both nights Mom only had to get up once to feed! Mom also realizes that she just cursed herself and is bound to be up 4 times tonight... but o well, nothing we haven't done before! The picture is Miss Ruby getting excited for St. Patty's day later this week. Although she won't be partaking in any green beer, I suppose if I drank enough food coloring maybe she could have green breast milk. :) Actually the reason she is getting excited is that St. Patty's day means her uncle Sam is coming home from Europe. They will finally get to extend their online relationship to real life...
