Not quite a "big girl" yet...

Ruby had her 2 week doctor's appointment today.  She shocked us by going 4 hours without a feeding for the first time last night, which was a nice gift for mom and dad, but threw our feeding schedule off a bit.  Poor girl was quite hungry during her appointment.  Regardless, she was a trooper throughout.  She now weighs 7 lbs. 7 ounces.  This means she has gained 7 ounces in 9 days (I think my math is right this time!).  More shocking, she has grown almost 2 inches in 2 weeks.  At birth, she was 19.25 and today measured at 21 inches!   

  Head circumference was average...52nd precentile, length was at 77th precentile, and weight is in the 24th precentile.  Where did this "string bean" come from?  Definitely takes after her dad!

  In the past week, Ruby has done her best to hang with the "big kids".  The pictures show her with Kelly (my cousin) and her kiddos Hannah and Noah and with my uncle Dave and his granddaughter Katelyn (daughter of Heather).  All the kids did great with her, and Ruby is excited to chase after all of her "cousins" sooner than later!  Finally, there is a pic of Ruby and I "in the hood". :)
