Ozarks with Papa and Babcha

This past weekend Mommy and Daddy took Ruby to the Ozarks to spend a long weekend with Kevin and Helen.  She did amazing in the car, only fussing when it was time to eat.  We've learned that in the car singing helps Ruby fall asleep.  The problem is it takes 10 minutes and it takes about every song you know to sing for that long.  So Steve came up with a song that was plenty long... 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall.  So in measuring how long it took her to call asleep, we can say we got to 60 bottles the first time, 40 bottles the next, 19 the next time and 41 the last. :)

The weekend was fun and Ruby got plenty spoiled.  She is going through a bit of withdrawal from having 4 people to give her attention.  She spent time with her Babcha while Papa, Mommy, and Daddy golfed.  We also took her to the pool which took a bit of getting used to.  Being overwhelmed by the feeling of the water and the reflection of the sunlight, she mostly focused on an orange koozie!  The second time went much better than the first though, so at least progress!  We also took her on a boat which I think she would have loved except the life jacket wasn't so comfy.  Don't have any pictures of that, but when we get some from the Wagners we will try to post!

She also tried avocados and bananas while we down there.  She wasn't feeling the avocados at all, but was definitely a banana girl.  It's the first food she has really done well with.  She also tried water out of mommy's cup and LOVED it.  We will have to be careful not to give her too much, as she would fill up on water if we let her.  Enjoy the pics!
