5 months!

Ruby turned 5 months today, and with that, we are in the process of handling her cradle cap, moving away from swaddling (slowly - cold turkey did not work!), and trying to return to putting her in her crib awake (as we did the first 3 months of her life).  All transitions are progressing and we are finding that she is sleeping better... if she would only keep those little hands away from that binky.  She pulls on it even in her sleep!

 We continue to work on eating as well.  She is getting it down... opening her mouth for the spoon and turning away when she is full.  Today she tried baby oatmeal and seemed to like it.  We are still waiting for those teeth... thought maybe she was hurting yesterday, but not at all today.

 Always changing, always growing, and always finding new ways to make us smile.
